iQIYI Sports has reached a collaboration with Amazon to exclusively broadcast the Manchester City documentary, All or Nothing: Manchester City, in China.
The 8-part documentary was filmed and produced by Amazon and was released on Amazon Prime on August 17, 2018. The documentary series is about Manchester City’s journey during the 2017/2018 season and provides a comprehensive look into the club via many behind-the-scenes content, such as the office of head coach Pep Guardiola and the lives of players at home.
iQIYI Sports and Manchester City hosted a launch ceremony for the documentary in China on November 11, releasing the first episode at 11pm. The event was also a derby viewing party for Chinese fans as Manchester City played arch rivals Manchester United on the same night.
iQIYI Sports is going to show one episode every Friday and make the first two episodes free to all users of iQIYI Sport with the rest of the documentary series only open to paid subscribers of iQIYI Sports.
Currently, the documentary series has been distributed to over 200 countries and regions in the world. This import into China is an effort by the newly founded iQIYI Sports to offer more premium-quality sports content for fans in China.
