SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

iQiyi Sports, iQiyi’s online sports broadcasting platform, has reached a strategic cooperation deal with Bellator MMA, the world famous mixed martial arts championship, becoming its exclusive partner in mainland China for the 2019-2021 championships. From April, iQiyi Sports will stream live broadcasts of Bellator MMA events across all media, bringing an abundance of mixed martial arts fights.
In 2019, there will be 38 Bellator fights in total, including 10 indoor fights, 12 monthly fights and 6 free combats. Starting from the signing of agreement, iQiyi Sports will present over 200 hours of live broadcasting. Fans will enjoy fights in 1080p quality as well as having the option of commentary in either Chinese or English.
Bellator MMA is a world leading organization of mixed martial arts and free combat, based in California, USA. It is a subsidiary of Viacom, with a lot of the world’s top-ranked fighters. Since it was founded in April 2009, it has been broadcast in 14 different languages and has reached over 140 countries, with a worldwide audience of over 1 billion viewers.
