Manchester City FC have announced a partnership deal with Whaley, an important internet-based entertainment arm of Shanghai-based China Media Capital (CMC), according to an official report posted yesterday.
Under this deal, Whaley will become the Club’s official TV partner in China. That means the exclusive 4k content of Man City will showcase Whaley’s technology. The Whaley logo is going to appear on the back of City’s shirts for their games against Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund as part of the Club’s visit to China in July.
“We are very pleased to add Whaley to our family of Chinese partners, reflecting our growing commitment to and presence in that market.” said Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive Officer of City Football Group.
Mr Huaiya Li, CEO of Whaley added: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Manchester City and to playing be a big part in the Club’s upcoming visit to China.”
