On June 8, the China Open organized a press conference at the National Tennis Center in Beijing, to announce a 5-year renewal with China CITIC Bank, one of its current two Diamond Sponsors, until 2022.
China CITIC Bank has been a main sponsor of the China Open since 2007 and upgraded to Diamond Sponsor in 2013. This renewal makes it a 16-year partnership and China CITIC Bank becomes the longest-serving continuous sponsor of the tennis event.
According to the official press release, the China Open currently has 11 sponsors, 10 exclusive partners and 20 suppliers.
China CITIC Bank Headquarter Office Director Mr Shen Qiang says, “This strategic long-term renewal demonstrates China CITIC Bank’s confidence in the future prospect of the China Open. China CITIC Bank is trying to be the best responsible, warm, unique and respectable comprehensive financial service provider. We always closely integrate company developments with the realization of customer value and social responsibilities. China CITIC Bank will continue to support the China Open and Chinese tennis development.”
The 2018 China Open will be held from September 23 to October 7 at the National Tennis Center in Beijing.
