Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

German Bundesliga giant, Borussia Dortmund, has recently signed a strategic cooperation deal with Anhui Normal University, with the aim of helping the institution establish a professional football education model, as well as help develop more coaches and teachers.
Suresh Letchmanan, Managing Director of BVB Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., Benjamin Wahl, Head of China at Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co., Lu Lin, and Vice President of Anhui Normal University attended the signing ceremony along with other officials.
After expressing his warm welcome to all attendees, Lu outlined their university and the football academy, highlighting his wish to work together with the Black and Yellows. Xi Yubao, a professor of the university, commented that this deal will make contributions to their business in football talent fostering, football education as well as coach and teacher training.
After the opening of the China office in 2017, Borussia Dortmund has been expanding its presence in China through various partnerships with local brands, companies and institutions.
Suresh Letchmanan stressed that as a professional club established 109 years ago, they expect to use their training model to help local football academies develop players that are more outstanding.
