On July 5 the current DFB Cup winner Borussia Dortmund has launched its official Chinese website. After the English, Japanese, Spanish and French version, Chinese is the fifth language version of the club’s official website. The website was developed by Borussia Dortmund in cooperation with the Mailman Group and the new platform provider Hupu, a Chinese sports marketing company.
On the new website (www.borussia-dortmund.cn), Chinese fans will find information on all BVB players and BVB news in Chinese, comprehensive information, performance data on the players and photo galleries, with some exclusive BVB photos. Moreover, this website includes a mobile and desktop version, which allows Chinese fans to visit it on any device.
Talking about the new website, Carsten Cramer, the BVB Sales and Marketing Director stated that: “Chinese is not only the most widely spoken language worldwide next to English, but we also see more and more interest in Borussia Dortmund especially in China. We want all BVB Chinese fans and friends to have the opportunity to experience the fascination surrounding Borussia Dortmund as close as possible through the Chinese website as another digital channel in their own language during our Asia tour this summer and on a continued basis 365 days a year.”
