On April 13, Osports (Beijing) Culture Media Co.,Ltd officially announced a strategic cooperation deal with Infront China, who holds the marketing rights to the Chinese national men’s basketball team and national women’s basketball team.
According to the announcement, Osports is expected to help Infront with photo shooting and video production for the 2 national teams, establish an official photo database as well as provide related technology support.
Although the financial terms have not been disclosed, the deal will take effect from the signing date to December 31, 2018, and Osports will have the priority to renew the deal within three months before the contract expires.
Osports signed a three-year deal with the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) in September 2017, which enabled the company to take photos of CBA matches, training and activities, group portrait photos of CBA clubs as well as portraits of all the CBA players.
Osports is also the official image provider of several Chinese basketball clubs, including the Beijing Ducks, Zhejiang Guangsha, Liaoning Flying Leopards and Shenzhen Leopards. The media company is also the official image partner of Chinese Super League clubs like Changchun Yatai, Shanghai SIPG, Hebei China Fortune and Shandong Luneng.
