On April 14, the Yunnan Sports Bureau signed a strategic partnership deal with Titan Media, aiming to promote the development of the sports industry in Yunnan Province by making full use of local facilities and landmarks.
Under the deal, Titan will conduct an overall and in-depth research into the Yunnan sports market, in the hope of setting up a strategic plan for the province as well as creating a new Yunnan sports brand.
In addition to this, the media group also has plans to engage the public with Yunnan sports and enhance its social influence.
“In the recent two years, China has launched a series of sports policies. After analyzing the challenges and opportunities of local sports, Yunnan is working hard to develop national fitness, public services, the ‘Healthy Yunnan, Sports-focused Development’ project and other sports-related industries.” said Yin Yong, Director of Yunnan Sports Bureau.
“Our partnership with Titan Media will provide us chances to use complementary advantages of resources to reach a win-win cooperation,” Yin added.
“Seeing Titan as an important media platform, we are looking to cooperate in terms of national fitness, event operation, venue management, outdoor leisure sports, overseas exchanges, traditional sports and sports publicity.”
