Beijing Sport University (BSU) has signed a strategic cooperation framework with the Qinhuangdao government of Hebei Province.
Under their framework, the two sides are looking to co-establish the Qinhuangdao main campus for Chinese Football (Basketball/Ice hockey) College of BSU. Their aim is to set up a sports talent-training base featuring academic study, sports training and events, fostering professionals in football, basketball and ice hockey for China.
In addition to this, the pair has plans to seek deep cooperation opportunities in fields including sports talent fostering, branding events, sports culture exchange, sports consulting and social service. They will also set up a co-branded team for their future work.
BSU has already created its football club in Qinhuangdao and selected 300 players throughout China, aiming to help it enter the Chinese Super League in the future.
In November 2017, BSU announced an official partnership with VfL Wolfsburg, with the goal of introducing three experts, including the technical director for the Chinese Football College of BSU and two coaches for the university men’s and women’s teams.
