Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

November 7: China Sports Event Management Co., Ltd. (CSEM) has led a group of companies in winning the bidding process for the Tongshan Sports Town construction project.
Located in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province, Tongshan Sports Town will be constructed and operated on a 25-year Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode, with the construction period no more than 5 years. Reportedly, the total investment in the project will be RMB 2.4 billion.
According to the Department of Finance of Jiangsu Province, the town will cover an area of 81.4 hectares in total, with the area for the sports facilities in the town totalling 24.9 hectares.
This new sports town will feature a sports training complex, an outdoor sports base for teenagers, a sports healthcare center and hubs for sports industry courses and sports products’ research and development.
Support facilities such as welcome centers, hotels, restaurants and shopping malls will also be built in the town. Additionally, the project includes infrastructure construction of the town, including 21 roads and streets, 4 recreational squares and the power supply system for the town.
China Sports Event Management Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary company of China Sports Industry Group, a company founded in 1998 and controlled by China’s General Sports Administration.
