New Edition of the Chinese Volleyball League to be officially launched

September 26: The opening ceremony of the 2017/18 Chinese Volleyball League was hosted in Beijing, with the league's new Chinese name, logo and highlights being disclosed. 

In the new season, the league will have a new Chinese name, "中国超级排球联赛", instead of the current name "中国排球联赛". The new logo of the league was also disclosed at the ceremony. As for the highlights, according to a representative of the league, there would be some new reform measures for transfer of players, the introduction of overseas players, schedule arrangements and broadcasting technology. 

The league has also embraced several official sponsors, including Bright Dairy, Peak Sports, Linglong Tyre, Coca-Cola, picture agency Osports and the sports app Yundongbao.

In addition, an award ceremony was also held prior to the opening ceremony, with over 10 coaches and players receiving awards for their outstanding performance in the 2016/17 season.
