Fluminense, of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, is looking for more partnerships in China as the club president Pedro Abad revealed on August 6.
A delegation led by the club vice president Diogo Bueno is expected to pay a 7-day visit to China next week. As Bueno said in a Xinhua interview, they would meet some Chinese sports agents to find potential cooperation opportunities in finance and sports.
This visit is aimed to promote their youth training project in the country by partnering with Chinese government and companies. They are also looking to attract more sports oragnizations to visit their country for further understanding of Brazilian soccer.
Early in 2015, Fluminense started to introduce their training system from the Brazilian soccer academy to a soccer campus in Inner Mongolia.
Fluminense, founded in 1902, has clutched the national championship four times, most recently in 2012, and won the Copa do Brasil in 2007.
