Neymar is expected to fly to Shanghai instead of returning to Barcelona with the squad following Saturday’s International Champions Cup Clasico matchup against Real Madrid in Miami, according to an ESPN report.
According to ESPN sources the Brazil international’s upcoming China Tour is aimed at participating in promotion campaigns for Barcelona and Nike.
Sources also added that the 25-year-old forward could join up with Paris Saint-Germain's training camp but an announcement is not expected to be finalized until after his trip to China.
The report also said, Neymar Sr., the footballer’s father, has been in discussions with PSG's Qatari owners and sporting director Antero Henrique. They have agreed to give Neymar about €30m a year after taxes and a signing bonus in excess of his net annual sum.
In addition to this salary and extras, it is said that Neymar could also profit from club owners Oryx Qatar Sports Investments' other commercial ventures in Paris and outside the world of football.
