SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

July 25: As an official sponsor of Le Tour de France, Skoda has now expanded their partnership to Le Tour de France China Criterium as the latter’s official vehicle partner.
Skoda first joined forces with Le Tour de France in 2004. In the 2017 edition, Skoda supplied 250 service cars to Le Tour with the total distance covered during the 3-week race reaching 2.8 million km. The complete distance taken by Skoda’s vehicle fleet over 14 editions of the race has surpassed the 30 million km mark.
Le Tour de France China Criterium is a new cycling series which will make its debut in Changsha, China, with the Etape China being organized by Le Tour de France. On October 28 and 29, a peloton of 60 riders, bringing together some of the leaders of elite Pro-Continental teams and a selection of professional Chinese cyclists, will set off on the roads of Shanghai for the second part of the arrival of the Le Tour in China.
