According to several news reports, Zhang Yuning, a 20-year-old Chinese striker, has been signed by West Bromwich Albion from Vitesse Arnhem and loaned to the Bundesliga club Werder Bremen for the next two seasons.
At the same time, Zhang’s father Zhang Chengquan has set up an agency to deal with various matters for the Chinese football player.
It was reported that the agency has signed an agreement with Werder Bremen and the two sides will cooperate in youth training, event organization and sideline advertising. This agency will also be responsible for the commercial exploitation of Zhang’s image rights.
Zhang started his career with Hangzhou Greentown before joining Vitesse in 2015. He became the first Chinese player to score in the Eredivisie in March of the following year.
"I'm very proud to play for Werder," said the young Chinese player. "Werder is very well known in China and I'm really excited to take this opportunity."
