The Chinese Super League football club Guangzhou R&F has signed a five-year strategic partnership agreement with the German Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart. The two parties held a signing ceremony on October 10 in Guangzhou.
The two clubs will collaborate with each other on commercial business development, fans and member rights connections, football business research, youth football exchanges, eSports and others areas. The two parties will also co-organize a Mercedes-Benz Cup Youth Championship competition series in China with the winning team being invited to visit Germany.
The two parties hope to achieve economic success by sharing resources with each other under this partnership, as well as to understand more about each other’s football culture and sports business.
Guangzhou R&F are currently ranked 11th in the 2018 Chinese Super League season and VfB Stuttgart are 7th in the 2017-2018 Bundesliga season.
