As well as being an official sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Hisense have also started to carry out their sponsorship plans in the eSports arena. They have announced a partnership with Evil Geniuses, the eSport giants based in the US which will see Hisense become their official sponsor.
Along with supporting Evil Geniuses during major tournaments, the partnership will also link Hisense's line of innovative TV sets with Evil Geniuses' full range of professional online games, Dota 2, Street Fighter, Call of Duty and Halo so that they can offer “digital activations aimed at bringing technological excellence to the gaming community.”
Sina have announced that Evil Geniuses will come to Qingdao on May 30, where Hisense will organize a tournament for local Chinese eSports gamers to compete against the professional gaming team.
