Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Chinese conglomerate, the Wanda Group, officially announced a top-level sponsorship deal with FIFA at a conference held in Beijing yesterday (22 March).
Wang Jianlin, owner of the Wanda Group, said that, in addition to his company, two more Chinese companies are likely to sign as global sponsors with FIFA in the near future.
"In a short time, there will probably be another company that will sign up as a partner, and if everything goes smoothly there could be three Chinese companies, including Wanda, as top-level FIFA sponsors this year," saidWanda Chairman,Wang Jianlin.
Although Mr. Wang didn’t name the other two companies, he believes one company is set to finalize a deal with FIFA soon.
Furthermore, Wang also explained why Wanda will sign with the global football body. He said "the Chinese soccer industry is now in an unprecedented spring" and it is "very worthy" of teaming up with FIFA.
