Sina Sports announced it had reached co-operation agreements with the PGA Tour, the LPGA Tour and the Masters.
Golf.sina.com.cn was founded in 2003 and is said to be the first online media platform for golf. Golf.sina.com.cn is also the Chinese official website of The Masters and the LPGA.
Sina Sports broadcast this year’s Masters, the most prestigious of the four grand slam tournaments, through live streaming for the fifth consecutive year. It is also to take charge of the building and operation of The Masters’ Chinese official website.
In the meantime, Sina Sports has achieved a strategic cooperation with the PGA Tour and the LPGA Tour. It has obtained the rights of these two tournaments’ highlights and videos and will promote the events through PC, WAP, APP and Weibo.
As for the PGA tour, Sina Sports has provided rich video content from the 2017 PGA Tour right from the very first tournament of the PGA Tour, the SBS Tournament of Champions.
