Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

August 3: The Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA of America) has signed a multi-year partnership deal with Sina Sports, which allows the former to deliver overall media reports of their tournaments and activities to the Greater China Region.
This partnership will see Sina Sports develop a new featured website for the PGA, based on content offered by the golf organization, plus leveraging its social media platform, Weibo to promote the PGA.
The PGA will provide Sina Sports with videos, featured articles and tournament-related content for its social media including the PGA Championship, the Women’s PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup. Golf Training Videos and weekly reports of PGA players will also be available on Sina Sports. Finally, Sina Sports will take charge of promoting the PGA Junior League which landed in China this summer.
By partnering with the PGA of America, Sina Sports has increased its portfolio of golf rights covering the PGA Tour, the European Tour, the LPGA, the Masters and the PGA Championships, allowing Sina Sports to become the leading multi-media platform delivering the most comprehensive coverage of golf among all platforms in China.
