According to the China Daily, on March 26, the Chinese City Football League held a press conference for the 2017 season in Beijing. Liu Bingrun, the Chairman of the China city soccer league Corporation, He Hongyu, the Director of the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sport, and Hao Haidong, the General Manager of China city soccer league Corporation attended the conference. The Chinese top-level social football league will kick off on April 8th with 16 participating regional teams.
It is reported that the economic situation, competitiveness and number of participating teams have all improved during the Chinese City Football League 2017 season. Compared to the 64 teams in the 2016 season, there are fewer matches between the 16 teams in the 2017 season; however, these games will be more spectacular and there will be fierce competition.
The national TV channels, CCTV5 & CCTV5+, as well as a dozen national TV stations and over 30 video websites will provide live broadcasts of the matches, bringing a better visual experience of the Chinese social football league to audiences.
