Anhui’s fitness recreation industry aims to reach RMB 120 billions by 2025

On February 7, the General Office of the People’s Government of Anhui published the document: Implementation Suggestions on Speeding up the Development of the Fitness Recreation Industry. It indicates that the total value of the fitness recreation industry will exceed RMB 120 billions by 2025.

The overall goals are as follows: by 2025, establish a development pattern for the fitness recreation industry with a reasonable layout, complete functions and various categories defined. The aims are to improve the marketing mechanism, stimulate stronger consumer demand, optimize the industrial environment, rationalize the industrial structure, provide abundant products and services, significantly enhance the quality and level of services and improve the integration between the fitness recreation industry and other industries, so that the total value will exceed RMB 120 billion.

The implementation measures include 24 items under the following 6 major plans: a plan to increase market supply, a market entity incubation plan, an energy upgrade plan for the industry, an infrastructure improvement plan, a fitness consumption enhancement plan and an industrial service assurance plan.
