On January 9 2017, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) officially announced that Kelme has won the bid to provide official match balls for the Chinese Football Association Second Division League (C2L) and become the official ball supplier.
According to reports, as the match ball supplier of C2L, Kelme will be able to increase its brand exposure by advertising on two advertising boards or displaying on LED display system for 4.5 minutes per game.
In 2015 Kelme became the official sponsor for the CFA China League and for the CFA Women’s Super League. In April 2016, Kelme reached an agreement with the CFA becoming the official equipment supplier for C2L. This means that Kelme is now the biggest sponsor of Chinese profession football league.
Kelme is a famous Spanish sports brand and the Chinese ownership have been acquired by Jinjiang Yuanxiang Garments Weaving Co., Ltd. in 2014.
