According to a report from the english.dzwww.com, the American National Football League (NFL) China has officially announced that William Chan will take the place of Peyton Manning, the NFL’s legendary star, and has been appointed the first Chinese ambassador of the NFL.
After nearly ten years in China, this is the first time that the NFL has selected a Chinese entertainer as their ambassador.
As the ambassador, William Chan will work closely with the NFL to take part in a series of activities about the promotion of American football culture. With his healthy and positive public image, William Chan is to deliver the NFL’s brand spirit and core values, so as to attract and recruit more young people to focus on and participate in this sport.
William Chan said: “It is my great honour to be the first Chinese ambassador of the NFL, and I hope through this cooperation you will see a different side of me.”
