Problems aroused by shoes in CBA

TheCBA leagueSeason 2016-2017 commenced last week, but players still had problems withthe Basketball Association in terms of shoes. This has been a problem forthe past few seasons but this season the problem seems to have got worse. In 2012, Li Ning spent 2 billion on acquiringthe equipment sponsorship which stipulates that all local players wear Li Ning’s basketball shoes in the competition.That’s why players have these problems with the Association every year at the beginning of the league.

On the evening of November 2nd,in the second round of this season’sCBA league, Yi Jianlian,who has only recently returned to play in the league,suddenly threw Li Ning’s shoes aside and put on a pair of Nike shoes. However, referees refused to let him wear them. On the morning of the3rd, Yi Jianlian responded on Weibo and made an apology. He said he was willing to accept any punishment handed down to him.
