It has been announced that, for the 2016-2017 season, CBA league matches will begin on 29th October. For that reason, a combined working conference and press conference was held in Beijing on 19th October to make preparations for the new season.
This League has included Baofeng Sports and JD.COM as two new sponsors. Meantime, PPTV has expanded its rights from the internet and mobile phones to OTT. Baofeng Sports will provide a better viewing experience for audiences with its visual reality, while JD.COM will provide a high quality online shopping experience and a marketing service that meets the needs of clients. So far, there are 24 sponsors and 3 partners of licensed products.
A record number of teams, seven in all, have changed title sponsors since the end of last season.
