On 3rd September, the President of China, Xi Jinping, met the President of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, during the G20 Summit in Hangzhou. During the meeting, President Xi expressed the hope that China could cultivate her own Messi or Maradona with the assistance of Argentina. President Macri said it could take a long time but Argentina was glad to offer help if necessary.
Yesterday, Argentinean newspaper La Nacion released details of the cooperation on football fields between the two countries. Both sides agreed that in the next few months, Chinese football coaches and players will go to Argentina to learn and train with the two football giants, Club Atlético River Plate and Club Atlético Boca Juniors.
The President of Argentina agreed to send more football coaches to China, and offered to help those kids who want to become Messi or Marodona achieve their dream.
