Kaisa and Kaixing Capital Initiate Fund to Sports Industry

NBA star Steph Curry has announced a partnership with San Francisco-based technology startup PressPlay, to help him promote his brand across the globe, especially in China.
Under this partnership, PressPlay will work with Curry to create content for white-label mobile apps and websites to be used by Chinese consumers.
This means that fans in China will get access to exclusive training videos, live-streamed events, Q&A sessions, video diaries, and more behind-the-scenes material — all featuring the NBA MVP. n addition. Chinese fans will also be able to buy related products via the apps.
Next month, Curry is coming to China on behalf of the sportswear brand Under Armour.
“I’m very excited to have the chance to interact with my Chinese fans in a more meaningful way,” Curry said in a statement. “My fans mean a great deal to me and PressPlay will help me reach them in ways I never thought possible.”
PressPlay also announced a strategic investment from Sing Tao News Corporation Limited, a Hong Kong-based media company that will provide guidance and connections to the Chinese market.
