Super Sports, which has the exclusive EPL broadcasting rights for the season 2018-19, was the first to adopt a membership system. The collaboration with Alisports is intended to increase the number of members. The two sides will promote the Super Sports membership based on the E-business Copyright. In other words, Super Sports hopes Alisports can help it sell the EPL games to more people.
EPL is popular in China with numerous super fans. Compared with the Olympic Games, it is more specific. This new combination of “EPL Plus E-business” will usher the EPL into an E-business Era. Paying for watching the games is an irresistible trend and it marks the maturity of the sports industry, which will help to achieve the good and sustainable development of the industry.
