Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund has signed a 3-year partnership deal with Shanghai-based WowSports, or Aodong Tiyu in Chinese pinyin.
Under this deal, WowSports will become a new regional partner of The Black and Yellows in China for the next 3 years. The Chinese company is poised to organize fans in China to watch Dortmund’s home games in Germany.
Meanwhile, WowSports also supported the German club’s recent clashes against Manchester United and Manchester City in this country, as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup.
The news conference, held on July 25th was attended by Borussia Dortmund Commercial Director Carsten Cramer, along with Shen Lei, Shanghai Football Association Deputy Secretary General and Zhang Tao, President of WowSports. After the signing ceremony, Chinese fans were given an opportunity to meet BVB players Nuri Sahin and Erik Durm.
As Zhang Tao said, “I hope this sustainable partnership will help us build up a new model of sports cultural co-operation”.
