Chinese Super League (CSL) side Tianjin Teda FC and Czech outfit Slavia Prague FC yesterday agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on youth and coaching development as part of the agreement between the Football Associations of China and Czechia.
The two sides will collaborate on the training and development of teenage players and coaches. As well as development, the two clubs will work together to organize friendly matches in the near future.
According to a delegate from Slavia Prague, an international invitational football tournament for U10 to U12 teenage players is organised annually in Prague, the Czech capital. He expects youth players from Tianjin Teda to take part in the tournament next year.
“Personally I think youth development is the best investment”, said CSL ambassador Pavel Nedved, who was a special guest at the signing ceremony.
Nedved signed a three-year deal to become the ambassador for Chinese top tier football in March.
