Beijing Weiying Technology Co. Ltd., a marketing and service platform based on the mobile community, has announced that it has become a shareholder of Beijing sports company iRENA.
The move followed the September announcement that the two sides plan to jointly build a service platform for Chinese sports enthusiasts.
Through the partnership, Weiying Technology will expand its portfolio in sports by integrating its e-ticketing system Weipiao with iRENA which has a strong presence in sport events, venue management and fan bases.
Weiying Technology is a marketing and service platform for TV plays, microfilms and sports events. Its Weipiao system was formerly a movie-oriented e-ticket sales platform which now becomes a more comprehensive platform with the authorization to sell tickets for the likes of CSL, CBA and NBA China.
iRENA is a Beijing-based sports company covering sport events organization, sports venue operation and other services. The company, which was recently listed on China’s New Third Board, is now the official Arsenal School Partner in China.
