Le Sports and Chinese herbal tea brand JDB announced a strategic marketing agreement in Beijing last Friday.
As part of the deal, the two parties will join forces on advertising and marketing through digital coverage of several major sports competitions. These will include the Chinese Super League (CSL), CFA Cup, Wimbledon Championship, WTA and MLS. As well as streaming, the two companies will collaborate on branding through Le Sports’ two sports programs, Super Match Day and Le Sports News.
Pang Zhenguo, the Communist Party secretary of JDB, said “Through the partnership with Le Sports, JDB will secure a place (in branding) in ‘an Olympic year’ and strengthen the presence in the (herbal tea) industry through branding.”
Tan Jingying, a Vice President of Le Eco Marketing, said “Le Sports will provide JDB full opportunities to involve in and engage through (sports) content.”
JDB is a herbal tea manufacturer under the umbrella of the HK Hongdao Group.
