China’s sports company TTD Sports Media has reportedly agreed a business deal with US sprinter Justin Alexander Gatlin, according to a report in Chinese media, China News.
The deal sees the Chinese company become the exclusive presenting partner of Gatlin in China, covering all his commercial partnerships in the area. Under the agreement, TTD will plan and organize a series of exhibition matches and fans meetings in China for Gatlin. As well as other partnerships, TTD is also planning to build the Gatlin Athletics Academy and invite the American sprinter to be a special instructor at the TTD Marathon Master Academy in the near future.
TTD Sports Media President Su Ling said, “(Signing) Gatlin is the result of TTD Sports Media’s in-depth involvement in athletics and running as top athletes have significant influence on audiences.”
TTD Sports Media is a Beijing-based sports company that has undertaken the operations of the 2015 IAAF Beijing World Challenge, 2015 IAAF World Championships and 2015 Great Wall Marathon.
