SportAccord Convention 2026: Event Schedule taking shape in Baku

The IMG agency has announced that it is teaming up with Chinese real estate company Zhonghong Holdings to back a new Chinese ski resort in Changbaishan.
Under the strategic partnership deal, IMG has been appointed to provide management services to Changbaishan Powder Paradise, a new winter sports resort focusing on the high end adventure sport of Backcountry Skiing.
Set in one of China’s most revered tourist destinations, Changbaishan, the resort is designed to provide an unrivalled winter sport experience. The facility opened on January 1, 2016.
Developed by Zhonghong Holdings, Changbaishan Power Paradise is an exciting addition to the Group’s growing portfolio of tourism assets. Company Chairman, Wang Yonghong, commented, "I am very pleased to be working with IMG at Changbaishan Power Paradise, in this rapidly growing market segment, and in one of China’s most prominent and iconic destinations. With IMG’s commitment to excellence, depth of resources and industry expertise, we are confident Changbaishan Power Paradise will benefit very positively from this relationship.”
