China Mobile subsidiary MIGU obtain digital live streaming rights to 2018 FIFA World Cup

LeSports is set to sue Hebtv.com for unauthorized broadcasting of the Chinese Super League (CSL), according to a report by Caijing.com.cn.
In February, LeSports bought an exclusive internet broadcasting package from Ti'ao Dongli, which holds the video rights to the CSL games from 2016 to 2020. The 2-year deal is said to be worth RMB 2.7 billion.
However, Hebtv.com, an online platform owned by Hebei Radio & TV Station, has reportedly shown live CSL games without any authorization from LeSports. As Ti'ao Dongli revealed to media, although the Station has acquired the television streaming rights to the CSL, that does not mean they are allowed to broadcast the games online.
As stated in the report, LeSports is going to claim more than RMB 5 million in compensation for their loss caused by this infringement.
In March, LeSports also sued Yuntu TV, VST and Quanmin TV for the unauthorized broadcasting of three games in the first round of the CSL.
