Quick-frozen food provider Wanchai Ferry last Sunday (1st May) announced a sponsorship deal with the Chinese National Diving Team for the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The deal will see Wanchai Ferry become the official food partner of the Chinese National Diving Team during the 2016 Olympic Games to be held in Rio, Brazil. The terms of the deal were not announced at the press conference.
“Chinese people love the National Diving team. Wanchai Ferry, like others, is proud of the National Diving Team and hopes to make some contribution to Chinese sport,” said a product manager at the company.
Wanchai Ferry decided to sponsor the Chinese National Diving team because the Team (members) have the qualities of champions, which are striving, perseverance, and excellence, the manager continued. In addition, “With the development of the Chinese economy and urbanization, consumption in the food industry is growing significantly as Chinese consumers now demand a better quality of life, bringing promising market prospects for the fast food industry.”
