The Chinese synchronized swimming team has signed a sponsorship deal with the Nanjing-based JoyMain Science & Technology, a Chinese shapewear manufacturer.
This deal will see Laca, a shapewear brand from JoyMain, become an official shapewear partner to provide support for the team’s competition at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
At the signing ceremony, Wang Lusheng, director of China’s Swimming Management Centre, said the deal was a result of the two sides’ long-term negotiations, and their partnership was based on the fact that JoyMain’s brand fits with the team’s understanding of beauty and health.
JoyMain was formerly a sponsor of China’s Sports Training Bureau and the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. As Laca’s CEO Qiu Weijie put it,”It’s our great honour to become a partner for the Chinese synchronized swimming team. We’ll try our best to offer better services to the competitors and our customers.”
As stated in the report, nine Chinese players will compete in the Rio Olympics. Liu Yan, the team leader, said they are well-prepared for the upcoming competitions.
