Le Sports, the exclusive new media partner for the Chinese Super League (CSL), has announced that a shopping service covering the CSL and other sports will be launched on its Super TV on 4th March. It means that viewers will be able to purchase franchised products while they are watching a live match.
“This is the first time that we will provide live shopping services on TV and internet platforms. It is both technically and commercially revolutionary and is going to bring about great changes in the e-commerce industry.” Said Lei Zhengjian, CEO of Le Sports.
“We are making efforts to improve CSL fans’ viewing experience by promoting the ‘watch-and-buy’ model. ” Lei added.
It is said that Le Sports has acquired franchise rights to sell CSL shirts, footballs, emblems and armbands. They are aiming to build up the largest CSL live store in China.
