Le Sports, the subsidiary of China’s leading online streaming giant LeEco, announced yesterday that it will add Yidao Yongche, an internet car-sharing company, to its sports ecosystem portfolio.
Under this partnership, the two sides will seek co-operation in terms of the Chinese Super League and its derived content. Their agreement will see:
1. Yidao launching special cars to support CSL reporters.
2. The two sides providing shuttle services for CSL fans.
3. The two sides issuing exclusive taxi coupons for local fans.
4. Le Sports linking its CSL resources with Yongche’s platform, to improve CSL fans’ viewing experience during their journeys.
5. Yidao introducing Le Sports’ TV programmes, to enhance interaction with passengers and optimize their journey experience.
According to several reports, LeEco acquired a 70% stake in Yidao for US$700 million last October. The latest move will play an important role in Le Sports’ ecosystem.
