A Chinese delegation from newly promoted Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune FC, led by former Everton FC star Li Tie, recently paid a visit to La Liga side Sevilla FC, aiming at a potential collaboration in the near future.
As reported, delegates of the two clubs explored the possibility of working together on player exchanges and youth training.
Sevilla FC’s sports director, Monchi, revealed that the club is planning a Chinese Tour in the summer to play friendly matches in China.
Li Tie, as the deputy managing director at Hebei China Fortune FC, hopes the club can learn from Sevilla FC’s experience in youth training and foresees greater communication and co-operation in the future.
Hebei China Fortune FC have just been promoted to the CSL from China League One in late 2015. The club is currently in Phase Two of their winter training in Marbella, Spain in preparation for the upcoming 2016 CSL campaign.
