The 2015/2016 FIS Freestyle Ski Aerials World Cup Press Conference was held in Beijing yesterday. The event was attended by sports officers, executives, guests and more than fifty members of the international media.
The National Stadium, better known as the Bird’s Nest, will host the two-day competition which will run from December 19 this year. It will bring together more than 70 professional skiers from all over the world. The event is being organized by the International Ski Federation in partnership with the Chinese Ski Association and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports.
Evergrande Khinan, the title sponsor, is proud to welcome the first winter event to China after Beijing’s success in bidding for the 2022 Winter Olympics. As a manufacturer of dairy products, cereals and mineral water, the company has been actively seeking links with sports events. It is reported that the company has established friendly partnerships with the likes of Evergrande Taobao FC, Bayern Munich FC, the Chinese National Volleyball Team and the snooker player Ding Junhui.
