Chinese Super League Limited has reached a partnership on Monday with a Beijing sports company named iRena to jointly launch a range of CSL-themed mobile games.
Under the agreements, iRENA will be authorized to work together with game developers and promoters alongside derivative development companies to provide fans a series of CSL-oriented mobile games.
In addition, the sides have also named a range of portal websites like Sina and Tencent along with some gaming brands as their third-party partners.
“It is still in its infancy that games are authorized by Chinese sports with intellectual property, (therefore) it needs joint efforts from right holders, partners together with fans and game users”, said iRENA CEO Gao Hong.
“Supports of the CSL are not only keen to watch (CSL) games but also to have a platform to have a better understanding of the CSL and experience the efforts and endeavors that CSL teams have made (in the campaigns), commented Ma Chengquan, head of Chinese Super League Limited.
The first edition mobile game CSL 2015, developed by Capstone Gaming, will be launched by the end of November.
