SportAccord Convention 2026: Event Schedule taking shape in Baku

As an important member of Chinese sports delegation accompanying President Xi’s State Visit to UK, Sport 8 International chief executive, Bai Qiang arrived in Manchester at the same time with President Xi on October 23 and signed a hand of significant partnership deals with several sports entities.
During the visit, Sport 8 International has agreed a cooperation agreement with Football Foundation, the largest sports charity in UK funded by the Premier League, the Football Association and the Government. The Chinese sport company will be responsible for the promotion of Upshot in China, an online management system used by the Football Foundation for grassroots football projects.
The Chinese company also signed a deal with Peter Kenyon who has served as the chief executive of EPL clubs Manchester United and Chelsea. Peter Kenyon will leverage his great experience and networking resources to provide a series of consulting and training services to Chinese football clubs and entities through the teaming up with Sport 8 International.
The third deal was struck with West Ham United. Under the deal, the two sides will work together to promote youth training projects in China. The Chinese company has been awarded the rights to run the club’s digital media business in China. Sport 8 International also promised to serve as a broker for a profound-cooperation between West Ham United and a Chinese Super League club in the future.
The last deal was signed with ChinaEquity Group. The two sides have officially announced the set-up a football scholarship for non-football students who have been registered on the online platform of Sport 8 International.
