The Shenzhen Leopards, a professional basketball team in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), have announced a 3-year deal to extend their partnership with Osports Photo Agency.
The extension, expected to take effect starting from the 2017/18 season, will see Osports continue to support the basketball franchise as its official image and photography partner. The pair had an amicable cooperation during the 2016/17 season, with Osports shooting and producing 10,000 pictures for the club both on and off the court.
Under their new deal, the two parties will continue to work closely in visual communication as well as seek further opportunities to cooperate on visual content production, sports visual marketing and business operations.
Osports, founded in 2004, was listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations in October 2016. The photo company has also signed a 3-year extension with the team’s CBA rival Liaoning Flying Leopards.
Shenzhen Leopards was founded in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, in 2003 and moved to Shenzhen in 2015. The Leopards, 2004 Chinese Basketball League (CBL) runner-up, were promoted to the CBA for the 2005/06 season.
