FC Schalke 04 to play in China this summer

Chinese ski equipment dealer FreeSkiZone has recently raised RMB12 million in Angel Round led by Letv Sports, Legend Holdings and the Arena Capital, according various media reports.
The brand is set to build an online vertical service platform for skiing enthusiasts and amateurs based on their efforts to rent those equipment to their users last year.
The startup will enhance their online presence by launching their first mobile APP to be released later in October, offering their users news, tutorials and communities. More importantly, the to-be-launched online platform will ensure tools renting and deals for skiing users.
The FreeSkiZone has opened 10 physical shops in the country, half of which are based in top ski resorts in China.
Letv Sports is more renowned as a heavy spender in broadcast rights to a range of major sports events and has eyed on winter sports since Beijing won the bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
