Interview with Andreas Zagklis: to keep popularization of basketball with all-round strategy

Officials of Beijing’s Fengtai District lately announced a 3-year plan to establish a soccer village in the city with Gehua Zhongao Investment Co. Ltd.
In a workshop named “China·Huaifang International Soccer Village”, former Deputy Chairman of Chinese Olympic Committee Wei Jizhong and former head coach of China’s women’s national soccer team Ma Yuan’an all attended.
Under the preliminary scheme, the soccer village will be consisted of 65 soccer pitches, including fifty 5-a-side pitches together with ten 7-a-side pitches and five 11-a-side pitches, and also buildings alongside sculptures in different styles of various continents, covering 1.5 million square meters.
The aim is to launch a comprehensive and multi-functional soccer base, the largest soccer community in the city, in favour of both competitive sports and mass sports.
In addition, the base will also introduce intelligent engineering and synchronous data analysis system for the trainees. And they also planned to launch a special mobile application for users to book a pitch online.
