China Tennis Academy (CTA) has reached partnership with high-profile Spanish Sánchez-Casal Academy on joint training programs in China, according to Jiang Hong Wei, President of CTA.
Under the deal, the sides will collaborate in youth trainings together with a range of social training services, such as trainings on players of club level and players of different age groups.
CTA will play a significant role in Sánchez-Casal Academy’s presence in Asia while the latter focuses on Barcelona in Europe and Miami in America.
Nanjing-based China Tennis Academy, led by former head coach of China’s national tennis team, was launched by Chinese Tennis Association, Jiangsu Sports Bureau and Nanjing Sport Institute last August.
In an interview by Modern Express, Jiang was confident to bring up “next Li Na” within a decade.
Jiang also confirmed that China Tennis Academy are set to host ITF Women’s Circuit, which could lay foundation for more talents who are eager to get more ranking points.
