Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) announced its partnership with GIZ and Sino-German Ecopark to establish a football training base in Qingdao and bring German youth football training methods into China.
The three parties signed a strategic partnership agreement on German football programs at a signing ceremony held in Qingdao on September 22. Under the partnership deal, DFB and GIZ will send qualified coaches and trainers to China and open different training camps in the country.
The two German organizations also announced their establishment of a representative office inside Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao. Addition to that, the two parties will jointly set up a football training base powered up by German football methods in China.
The training base will be equipped with first-class facilities for football training, rehabilitation therapy and healthy checkup and several standard football pitches and a promotion center for Bundesliga clubs as well.
The deal will see a comprehensive football training system from Germany is marching into China. Different training centers and academies specialized for football coaches, football management, youth football and PE teachers, and a platform for the promotion of German football culture and economy will be set up in following years. The training base is aimed to train 50,000 qualified football teachers for Chinese schools over the next ten years.
