Shanghai Tennis Masters is not just a name of event domestically, but also globally. The Shanghai Masters opened since 2009, which is the youngest one among the ATP Tour. However Shanghai Masters was named as the “best 1000” in last 5 years. Huawei, now the Chinese brand which is interested in sponsoring sports event, embraced Shanghai Masters.
Although Shanghai Masters only has a history of 6 years, they have attracted tens of tennis top players and millions of spectators. Djorkovic, Federer, Murray all attended the event in recent years. Shanghai Masters only goes behind Slam Grands and ATP World Tour Finals.
The reason why Huawei likes to collaborate with Shanghai Masters is Huawei brings their “Refined Product strategy”. Now Huawei is the No.1 brand in domestic market. In May, Huawei was selected as “100 valuable brands”, rank 16th among the technology brands. Huawei spent 10 percent of their revenue on creation and research. Huawei applied the most patents in the world.
2015 Shanghai Masters will start on October 10th , last till 18th.
